Wyatt / Garry Disher

Reading this title was my attempt to try a different style of book than I usually read. The blurb on the cover says "The enigma returns" and "One of the best writers in the country. Australian".

There were so many murders I found it hard to believe. None of the characters were like any people I know.

After persevering I found the last chapters quite compelling, but I won't be hunting out any more in the Wyatt series. I'll be sticking to Janet Evanovich for some equally unrealistic action but good fun with plenty of laughs.
