This is just a very quick blog to recommend Rachel Hore's "A place of secrets" to anyone who has read the novels of Barbara Erskine. The plot has the same mix of supernatural events in the past having ramifications in the future. It contains spooky towers, roving gypsy ghosts antiquarian books and dark dreams set in mysterious woods. What more could you want. It also has a little romance, but not too mushy. A nice, light holiday read.
