Sigh No More is the debut album from English folk-rock band Mumford and Sons and it doesn’t disappoint. The songs are beautifully composed and the acoustics stay with the listener long after the music stops. I loved the way every song would start out slowly and then build bar after bar to the final chorus. The lyrics were both poetic and interesting, if at times a little strange. There are very few occasions when you can enjoy every lyric on an album but this is one of them. The fact that their single ‘Little Lion Man’ was voted number one in Triple J’s Hottest 100 is testament to their great music and talent.
