Overkill / Vanda Symon

I found this author in a "who writes like" guide and as she was a local (New Zealander) I decided to give her a try.
Vanda Symon has written a few titles now and Overkill was her first book.
A gutsy young woman police officer practically solves a murder single-handedly. Sam Shephard's adventures were an entertaining escape from job restructure stress, much better than a headache pill. Her other titles have been added to my must read list.
